Pharmaserv is a site management company from the beginnings of this industry sector
- 1997 Spin-off as site management company from the former Hoechst Group
- Owner of land, real estate and infrastructure assets
- Operator with integral service offering (thereof appx. 50% subcontracted) - Developing of a compelling and unique vision and strategy (front-runner of the industry)
- Restructuring and improvements in productivity:
- Definition of core business, clear interfaces to customers and suppliers,
- Streamlining of our core processes,
- Divestment and/or closing of activities, which were not competitive,
- Implementation of a customer- and service-oriented organisation,
- Renewal of the management team, - Introduction of transparent structures and reporting, - Introduction of MBO based on a Balanced Scorecard measuring system, - Implementation of a neu ERP-system - Enforcement of sales and key account management

The Pharmaserv-Story after 2005: The new, independent ownership offers to take new opportunities
- 2005: Acquisition of Pharmaserv by 6 private investors
- 3 managers of Pharmaserv
- 3 consultants for corporate and group development - Since 2005: Our independence enables to invest into important activities and site development. A site master plan and subsequent investments were realized:
- Acquisition of expansion area (land)
- Relocation of employees' parking to areas outside the works
- Adjustment of the site-boundaries (forest/timber line)
- Redefinition of built up areas
- Measures to increase site security and safety
- Focussed investments (e.g. logistics center, Novartis FCC-building) - Focussed investments in forward-looking projects (e.g. conversion of production facilities)
