At Infrareal, we rely on renewable energy whenever possible - which is why we have now installed a new photovoltaic system on the multi-purpose building in the Pharmapark Jena. We use the electricity it generates, for example, for media, charging points for electric vehicles and as general electricity for stairwell lighting and elevators. Because production processes in the pharmaceutical industry are often energy-intensive, it is important for us to generate as much electricity as possible ourselves. The amount generated by the new PV system could supply around 20 four-person households.
